You are invited to send The Private Press up to three poems responding to David Lynch's film, Blue Velvet. Enter your poems in our contribution form.
For translations, the original and the English version count as one.
Please note: if you send more than three per film, your contribution will be disregarded. No exceptions. You will receive notification once we receive your work. If your work is accepted, you will be asked to view a proof of your work for approval, prior to publication. We require anthology rights for publication in the UK. Rights revert to the author upon publication.
To find out the kind of poems the editor likes, you can either listen to the audio poems from We Don't Stop Here and A Slice of Cherry Pie, or you can buy your copies of these chapbooks from The Private Press store.
Deadline: 31 December 2008.

Chapbook launch: Summer/Autumn 2009.
Contributors published in the anthology receive a copy of the chapbook as payment. Contributors are also entitled to purchase additional copies for a significant discount [plus postage], while stocks last. Profits go towards future chapbook publications.
